The Academic Studies Advisor (ASA) system has been implemented in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics since the 2018-2019 academic year, serving as a link between students and faculty members, thereby facilitating communication between students and the institution’s structures. The Academic Studies Advisor monitors the progress of a small number of students, which is carried out smoothly and consistently throughout their studies. This monitoring is carried out through regular communication with students, with the aim of encouraging them to optimize their performance and supporting them in resolving any problems that may arise during their academic career. The result of this effort is the improvement of the academic life of undergraduate students by strengthening personal communication with their professors, who will offer them responsible counseling and guidance.
